Shuna faun
W e are on Shuna, a tiny island, just over a mile long, in Loch Linnhe, Argyll and Bute... There are no roads, just lots of beautiful creatures.

A matter of balance
G o into town - and be sure to see the gulls exercising and enjoying the sunshine.

Shadowy me and focussed moth
H ere is a moth. I hide and seek the moth. He lands on the back door. I raise my camera and ... catch myself as well.

Ibis at Willow Creek, Prescott
O ne glorious morning during our visit to Arizona I take an early walk around the beautiful Willow Creek. There was much to see and enjoy - including this young bird.
I was enchanted.
Wren singing into the air
O n occasion I pass the field and there, balanced with supreme confidence on a twig, is the queen of song, Jenny Wren. She sits and sings to me and to the world.
What a beautiful experience!
A stalking heron
P eeping out of our hide at Fishnish on the Isle of Mull we see this gentleman stalking and enjoying the sunshine.
